Kalyn embarked on her professional journey right out of high school when she relocated from Ohio to Indianapolis. She pursued her passion for cosmetology, successfully passing her state boards and becoming a licensed cosmetologist in Ohio and Indiana. Kalyn has honed her customer service skills and built lasting relationships with her clients, providing top-notch service in the beauty industry.
While she was working in Indianapolis, Kalyn simultaneously pursued an associate's degree in Business Management at Ivy Tech. In May of 2019, with her newly acquired degree, Kalyn made the decision to move back to Ohio to be with her now-husband and transitioned into the field of property management.
Kalyn's venture into property management started at a dual property in Dublin, where she excelled in leasing and managing nearly 400 apartments and townhomes. During this time, she began contemplating a career in real estate, drawn by her desire to run her own business and make a meaningful impact on people's lives.
Following her intuition, Kalyn embraced new opportunities and relocated to Gahanna, where she discovered her current home and further expanded her property management career. At Easton, she managed and leased an impressive portfolio of 500 apartments in 2021-2022. Despite her success in property management, her interest in real estate never wavered.
In 2023, Kalyn made a bold decision to pursue her long-held dream of becoming a licensed Realtor. She left her job and enrolled at Hondros, where she completed her real estate classes and obtained her license in just three short months. Motivated by her genuine desire to help individuals and families realize the joys of homeownership, Kalyn is excited to begin this new chapter in her career.
Outside of work, Kalyn is enjoying being a newlywed and spending time with her husband. They share their lives with two adorable dogs—a full-sized poodle and a lhasa apso-mix. Kalyn's love for the outdoors is evident as she enjoys walking her dogs and practicing yoga.
