A History of Helping Others
Roberta Melvin began her real estate career in 1979, driven by a lifelong passion for helping others. In 1994, her son Jerry earned his real estate license, and just two years later, he and his wife Debbie partnered with Roberta to launch their own independent brokerage, The Real Estate People.
By 2004, The Real Estate People had joined the Prudential Real Estate franchise network. A decade later, in 2014, the brokerage was honored to be among a select group of firms invited, vetted, and chosen to join Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. Today, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Platinum Realty Group proudly operates as part of HSF Affiliates LLC, owned by HomeServices of America, Inc.™, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate.
